This is a work from home position that will have you taking inbound calls ONLY and or communicating through e-mail.
We need reps that can take inbound calls from home and read a simple one page script.
You can make $800 per week with direct deposit into your bank account.
Here is what you need to do:
Please contact our office during business hours(9am-6pm central standard time) at 610-441-9163 to schedule a phone interview so we can familiarize you with what our company objectives are, and if your qualifications meet our needs we can go from there.
Please be prepared for an on the spot interview where your resume will be requested.
If you would like the freedom of working from home on your own schedule, making enough money to have plenty left over after you pay your bills and can contribute your positive energy to our team, we would love to have you join us. Working independently isn't for everyone, but if you put in the work and are able to follow a simple sales model, we'll back you up with all the tools you'll need to become successful.
Please serious candidates only! We are seeking business professionals.
This sounds like a lot of money for such a job. I calculate it at $20 per hour, if you work eight hours a day, five days a week. I would like more information on the company. What is it's name? Where is it located? Can we speak with any other employees, and are they registered with the Better Business Bureau etc. Also, would we be working as independent contractors or as employees? Does this position involve multilevel marketing of any kind?
hmm this definitely sounds interesting, being able to work from home is an awesome advantage for me. What's the name of the company? Does it have a website?
Hmm. this sounds suspiciously like another board with a similar theme. and this offer seems just as likely to be spam. No company name? No reviews? No website?
Hello to everyone that has posted thus far. Without a doubt I expect skepticism and doubters regarding this post. Let me make this very clear. This is a job opportunity not multi-level marketing. This is an independent contracting position and I am more than happy to give you the answers to any questions or concern you may have at this time. However it would be unprofessional to do so on this job board. My only intent was to present an opportunity to candidates not just on this job board but on dozens of sites in various areas. For those of you who may not have a degree in business multi-level marketing entails something called residual income. With multi-level marketing you are required to refer others and you gross a profit from the referrals that are made. This is absolutely not the case with this employment opportunity. As I stated previously, if you would like to set up a phone interview to have your questions and concerns answered, than please do. If not and your skepticism outweighs the opportunity for gainful employment than this position absolutely is not for you at this time. I will not divulge company name, better business ratings and website through this forum as it is not an opportunity for individuals to provide their unrelated comments. These are competitive positions offered nationwide. I appreciate your time, and look forward to hearing from serious candidates only.
On a more personal note I would like to address the comment that $800 per week is something that is unattainable. It is very unfortunate as a totally blind patron to see the blind community set the bar so low for themselves. This is an opportunity to for hard-working, motivated individuals who like myself and so many others dream big. I hope that at least one applicant is qualified for this position from this job board to squash all the skepticism and downers on this board. Good luck to those who apply and for those who don’t we still wish you good luck.
I have one question. You can answer either on this board or feel free to private message me. You mentioned applicants should have a resume on hand to present during the interview. How do we present said resume--Do the applicants review the resumes with the interviewer or are the resumes somehow sent in and presented?
Thanks
Bernadetta
I fail to see why giving basic information, such as the name of the company, or even the nature of the work we'll be doing, can't be stated on this job board. Most people want to know what they're getting into before applying for any position.
sweet_julie86, I agree with you about that $800 per week comment... I also understand why you might not want to disclose all company information on a public forum... However, I would like to know who the company is, what exactly the job entails, etc. before applying to such a position. I, like you have big goals and want to be successfully employed earning a decent paycheck. I would just like more information before applying. you can send me a private message if you don't feel comfortable disclosing everything on here. thank you.
I'm recovering from surgery this week so can't speak out loud. Hopefully the opportunity will still be available next week as I am very interested.
the fact the OP won't give any information about this company, makes me even more suspicious than I originally was. so, to those of you who claim to be interested, please be careful.
Do some research on the 1099 IRS form, your local tax laws for being a contractor, etc. Contract employment can be broken down as follows:
You are under contract with a single employer, but you pay taxes like a business. Meaning higher taxes but fewer write-offs since you really aren't your own business the way they say, because you are locked into a single employment contract. And then they don't have to pay workers' Compensation or Unemployment Insurance like we do when paying regular W2 employees.
Don't get me wrong: I think being an entrepreneur is the way to be, it's the life. I've done it and regret that I am not doing it now. You'll never feel more alive than when you do it.
However, this is not truly being an entrepreneur: you are a contract worker and so you are an employee without the benefits of being an employees and without the full write-offs of a sole proprietor, and with all the taxes a sole proprietor pays.
I found this out the hard way first year out of college. Great lesson to have learned and I hope some of you won't learn it the same way I did.
Businesses pay taxes at your county, sometimes even city, state and of course federal level, so, caveat emptor, do your homework.
And when a company goes under, you are one of its creditors, so you are behind the employees when it comes to collecting payment. that means you are behind the CEO and Chairman of the Board, because you are just like the light bill or any other creditor.
1099 Contract work for a single employer is a known scam though perfectly legal. Do your research, because in your era you can. When I burned and learned that mistake, I had no such resources.
Great information, Leo. thanks for posting.
Spam, spam, spam. spam, spam, spam, spam...
lol. What' a load of crock. Sure, you can make money with this. if you're willing to make referrals... You get the drift. It's not multilevel marketing--no. But only because they dont' require you to pay into it. It's still a pyramid scheme. stay far away, guys.
I figured it would be something like that.
Blech. Still falls under the theory of if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
exactly. oh well.
What irks me is that the original poster purposely misled people; Making all of us believe that this was something completely different. It's only working with incoming calls--well, yeah. if you post your phone number on the sites where you post the ad you have to post, of course people will call you.
There is no office, unless she means the "back office" that everyone gets to have, which is basically a web site and a set of tools that are supposed to help you coerse more people into the pyramid scheme so that you can make money.
The original poster said you can call to set up an interview--An interview for what? So they can take your email down and show you how to click and post their ads? I did call, curious to see what this was all about. I spoke to someone, maybe the original poster herself who claims to be making money with this endeavor. Well, of course she is because she's misleading people; Chiding them, sucking them into this just enough to make them believe that this is everything other than a pyramid scheme.
You don't need an impressive resume to click and post ads. It annoys me that the OP seemed offended when someone asked her to disclose what you need to do in this job, what the company name is and a link to the company site... Well, that's because there is no real company to speak of. Not really. And a better business bureau rating? Ha!! I'm willing to bet it's not even registered with the better business bureau.
Hey, original poster/marketing expert/ smart ass, guess what? A reputable company who is truely seeking to hire people will always disclose its identity. An honest company is proud to tell their prospective employees who they are; In fact, their very business depends on, and benefits from free publicity. Your lame-ass excuse that it would be unprofessional to post such details on a board like this is, well...Not much of an excuse. Makes no sense.
I'm sorry to say I wasted my time--And my phone minutes... Thanks a bunch.
My earlier post I dedicated to contract employment and I seriously hope any of you will very carefully examine this, as it's common in the U.S. now as a way to save corporations money and offload the business taxes onto the people who can least afford it.
However, something I left out here is, any job offer worth anything discloses the product or service your company makes.
Part of the trouble now with the buzz word 'brand marketing' is people are in business to make and sell brands. But a brand without a product or service behind it is like clouds without rain. We used to call these sorts of companies "frozen-broccoli-on-a-stick.com' companies during the .com boom (and bust). Basically ideas aren't enough, marketing isn't enough, dressing right (like the 'dress for success' people of the 1980s) isn't enough, professional cliches and demeanor aren't enough. More than ever, people want to spend their hard-earned money on product and service they can understand and get behind. The problem with these goals-and-attitudes people is just that: they're goals-and-attitudes people because they have no useful skills on the market and contribute absolutely nothing to the economy. They just sort of shuffle the existing economy around a little bit but contribute nothing to the communities they're part of, let alone the GDP.
Well I say good job to the orginal poster, however, anyone applying for anything must be aware and not get excited.
If I post that you can make 800 dollars per week sitting at home that should turn on a red light. 800 a week doing most anything requires some work and is not easy earned.
No name? I've got a job and I want you to work for Forereel Inc. I'm going to say so.
Saddly, money is made all sorts of ways and this will make money, so I suppose is earning. I guess it comes down to how you with to earn it.
Notice she hasn't responded after I outed this "oppurtunity" as a scam. She defended it while people just assumed it to be a scam. i don't see her running her mouth now that i've actually proved the skeptics right. What's more; I saw a similar ad for the very same "opportunity" down to the same phone number on a jobs mailing list for the blind. Don't know if it was the same poster, but her name this time was victoria instead of Julie. I'm not quick to point fingers, but if that's not fishy, I don't know what is.
Well someone will try and someone will earn some money from it, so I guess it is legit in a way?
Wayne, alcohol is a legal drug; Doesn't mean it's a good one or a safe one, right? Get my point?
exactly, write away.
and, ironically, I was thinking this may be Victoria, as well. hmmm.
Wow, how disgusting and disgraceful some people are. To the original poster, are you one of those people who thinks that blindies don't have common sense? We aren't stupid, dirt bag, so don't try scamming us. We are just as intellegent as anyone else. Well, most of us are anyway.
Ryan, the sad thing is the original poster became trapped and reeled into this scam herself, so she's the one who can't discern between something that's legitimate and something that isn't.
While I certainly don't agree with her post, I also don't find it necessary to personally attack her and to call her names. I think we've demonstrated the fact that we didn't fall for the scam and that should be enough.
Very interesting topic..WriteAway I think it is good that you checked it out. This reminded me of another post on this job board.
Anyone else notice how there has been no follow-up postings by the OP? Hmmm....?
yep; that's what I commented on a few days ago.
It's sad that everyone falls for these scams and gets their bank accounts and/or credit cards all run up because of these. Julie, if you were sucked into this scam by somebody else, I'd get out of it right away. If you started this scam yourself, you're an idiot.
